Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@thedanceproject.info if you cannot find an answer to your question.

YoCo Dances are Young Adult Community Dances including 18 - 28 yr

Stuco Dances are Student Community Dances including 5th - 12th grade

At every Community Dance, we have a designated professional photographer, and in order to maintain respect for their photo shots, we do not allow professional cameras to be brought by public attendees. If this is something you would be interested in, please reach out to Gabrielle Bannon (The Dance Project CEO) at: gabrielle.bannon@thedanceproject.info

The Dance Project reserves the right to ensure that the music played meets the highest of standards. Clean lyrics, upbeat rhythms and songs with proper intentions are our focus. Our mission to change the culture sometimes involves music choices that may seem undesirable. All of our music choices are carefully screened and thoughtfully chosen. We want to make it very clear that we are training students to dance positively, even when songs played at other dances are not the best.  We appreciate your support of this initiative and understanding as to why we cannot accept onsite song requests at The Dance Project’s events. Listen carefully, have fun dancing, and please feel free to let us know what you think.

No, the forms are only required once per season.
